CLAT exam has been conducted since 2008 for the purpose of joining students for law courses in various universities that are present across india. As like all other entrance tests it also examines the candidates skills in various fields such as General knowledge, current affairs etc. Nearly 18 law universities from various parts of the country are participating in this entrance and the numbers has been increasing every year. Cut off to join the certain board depends on the reputation and other factors of the university.
Not only these participating universities are taking part in the CLAT entrance 2017, other than this lot of private colleges are also using the CLAT score for joining the students. For the upcoming academic year CLAT exam is to be conducted by CNLU ( CHANAKYA NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY ), hence CLAT Notification 2017 pdf is issued by CNLU and details can be found here.
This test can be used for joining both the UG and PG law courses, for to attend CLAT 2017 exam students must have passed HSC in 10+2 format.
They should have at least 55% of marks in their final examination unless they are not belong to reservation categories, If they belongs to Sc or ST categories 45% is enough.
Students who are not coming under reserved categories should be below 20 years age as of 01/07/2017, for the reserved categories including SC, ST, OBC, PWD etc age should be below 22 year as of above said date.

How to apply?
After the notification is issued by the board which is responsible for conducting the entrance exam, they will intimate the dates for when they can start filling the forms. Afterwards follow below procedure and complete registration.
- Visit the CNLU official website using the below given link and fill the online application form, exam fees payment option can be done through internet banking, debit card, credit card options and through offline payments.
- Finally submit the payments after entering the required details, uploading photograph, signatures and paying exam fees.
- You will get application details for your reference, which can be used later to download hall ticket etc..
