The forecasting university was established by the educationist Dr. RM alagappa chetiar in the year 1985. The university campus covers a spacious area of 440 acres which seems to be green and ever green. “EXCELLENCE IN ACTION” is the vision and motto of the university. The NAAC accredited “A” graded university is possessing 40 colleges affiliated to it, besides possessing 34 department, 7 centers, and 3 constituent colleges in the campus.
