Eligibility Criteria:

For Engineering Courses:

Candidate must have to qualify HSC/10th exam with 35% in MATH and SCIENCE and 30% in other subjects from a recognised board to get admission in Diploma 1st year courses and must have to qualify 12th or equivalent exam with PCM stream from a recognised board or university to get admission in Diploma 2nd year as lateral entry. Candidates should be min 14 years old and there is no upper limit age criterion. Candidate should be a citizen of India.

For Non-Engineering Courses:

Candidate must have to qualify 12th or equivalent exam in any stream from a recognized university with min 35% in aggregate and min 30% in each subject. Candidate should be between 16 to 28 years old, 3 years relaxation for SC/ST.

Selection Procedure:

There won’t be any selection/entrance exam. Candidates will get admission purely based on merits on their academic exams. Candidates will be called for admission on the basis of ranks secured by their merits to the counseling. Candidates can check their rank or DET Merit list 2018 on the official website by choosing their corresponding login credentials. Candidates are requested to present with required documents which will be verified on counseling, Failing of which leads to canceling of admission of that candidate.

Registration of application starts from: April / May month

Declaration of Merit list: June month

How to apply:

Candidates have to apply online on the official website by filling the required information.  Candidates should be careful while filling the Odisha DET application form. Any dispensary in the application form will lead to cancellation of the candidature.

Candidates can submit the application fees by ONLINE (debit/credit card or Net banking/e-wallet) or OFFLINE by taking print out of the challan to the authorized bank.

The application fees once submitted can’t be refunded.
