For the MBBS and BDS courses in tamilnadu application was issued till 07/07/2017 and as per the official news there were 42818 application sold till the last date, application fees is 500rs some caste categories are exempted from paying the application fees. All those who obtained the minimum eligible marks in the NEET exam for the counselling were applied for it. All the filled application forms were submitted upto 08/07/2017 and nearly 50,000 students have submitted the MBBS and Tamilnadu application.

Steps to check the status of your Application
- In order to track your application visit tnhealth.org from an updated browser.
- Then from the notification list which is scrolling from bottom to top search for the link of application tracking.
- Two separate links are available for management quota and the govt quota so choose the appropriate one.
- Finally the selected page will be displayed there enter your application no or NEET reg no or roll no.
- Hit enter now the status will be displayed whether it is received by them or not received by them.
Steps to check your medical rank list:
It will be made available on following mentioned date and from that day itself they are able to know their ranks from the tnhealth.org website.

- Visit the official website on given date and after entering into rank list issuing page and check your name in the list and find your rank.
- As per the rank list counselling will be conducted by the board.
When comparing with the last year more applications were sold this year, last year only 26000 applications were issued.
