Tamilnadu schools reopening Date
Due to the hot climate in tamilnadu schools reopening has been postponed till june 06 and as per the tamilnadu school education department news schools going to reopened on june 07, 2017. It was planned to open the school on 01/06/2017 but unfortunately due to the summer tamilnadu faces very hot temperature and in some districts hot air is blowing in the afternoon due to these reasons government decided to reschedule the opening date.
Along with this due to the insufficient rain in the state in many schools there is lack of water for even toilet and drinking, so Parents and Students Associations requested the government to extend the holidays. Followed by this school education officials received the opinions from teacher association representatives and parents associations and along with this officials also asked the opinions from Tamilnadu Meteorological Department about the summer and south west monsoon, they said that hot climate will continue up to june first week followed by this summer vacation of schools has been extended.

Announcement regarding this was issued to the public by school education minister sengottaiyan, on the date of opening note books and subjects books will be issued to the students. After within one week Bus passes issuing process will be started.
This year students got extra leave days than usual because this time exams were completed one week earlier when compared to previous years and the starting date also revised.
